January 28, 200620 yr Hello, I have a stock 1990 Loyale 3 sp auto push button wagon that I take wheeling. With this car you are limited on what you can do but I am able to go on some great ATV trails up here in Alaska. You do have to hit some of the trails with some speed but she still goes. I want the dual range 5sp trannie so I bought an 87 GL wagon for a spring project. To answer your questions, it depends on the shape and price of the car. From there you should make your decision. Parts are like legos on these vehicles with endless possibilities. Do a search on the gallieres and you'll see what I'm talking about. These people have a great deal of knowledge when it comes to moding for cheap. I'm talking VERY CHEAP!!! Search Project Cheap. I say go for it if it's cheap. Later. would it be worth buying the car to make it off-road it doesnt have d/r nor does it have a 5 speed
