Anyone have an online source (88 loyale). Napa Canada has none and the independent parts place says they are discontinued in all their books.

I got mine from a salvage yard, so that would be my suggestion. If you can't find a source online pm me and I'll keep it in mind next time I go.

Not many in the salvage yards and they were all major toasted. All were worse than mine which has no 1,2 or 3 speed. At least mine isn't compositng like most of them.

Meh, I just soldered the busted parts of the coil back together. Haven't had a problem yet. I was gunna measure resistance and put some solid state resistors in there but I am lazy and the fast fix hasn't busted yet.

I've used aluminum foil in a pinch.Just make sure the large one (#4) is the one you use the foil on and have your fan switch on #4 all the time.

 

Yes,it's redneck,but it'll keep your toes warm and windshield clear on the way to the yard to get the real thing.
