Dan Olsen Posted February 4, 2006 Share Posted February 4, 2006 so the little rubber diaphram on the end of my fuel pump is spitting ... anyone find a cheeper alterative... Advance auto quoted me $179 and the subaru steelership said $299 for a new pump... but i looks like a simple 2 wire hookup and i just need to find a pump with the propper psi... anyone already done this????? the car is a 1992 subaru loyale ea82 with a 3 speed automatic and pushbutton 4wd.... ~119,*** miles.. thanks dan Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
torxxx Posted February 4, 2006 Share Posted February 4, 2006 yea you can go about it a different way. after market Fuel Injection fuel pump. 42 Psi is what the SPFI runs off of I believe.
