How long have you had the car? How are you measuring your gas mileage? What are your driving conditions? How does the car run? Is your check engine light coming on? To answer your question, yes, you should expect better than 15 mpg but exactly how much better depends on how you use it.

hi there ,

i just bought it from the dealer runs great no engine light on

but when i first drove it there was a check engine light on the

dealer said they found a misfire on it replaced wires and spark plugs.and told me it was fine. i drive around town alot but i baby it.

well when i first pick it up from deealer it was empty low fuel light was on so i filled it up with super it took 13.5 gallons

now im under 1/4 tank and ive gone 154 miles.

With 1/4 tank showing you actually may have more like 1/3 or more remaining. You really can't go by what the gas gauge says.

To get your mileage more accurately:

1. Fill up

2. Zero out trip odometer

3. Drive around for a week or so

4. Fill up

5. Divide the number of miles on the trip odometer by the number of gallons you just put in to fill up.

That's your mileage for that week.

Keep a log. Do this at every fillup (Assuming you fill up at every fuel stop, instead of just putting $5 here and $7.49 there, etc.). If you start to notice a drastic decrease in mileage over time, then you have an indicator of something possibly needing to be addressed ... air filter, fuel filter, etc.

You should be getting around 22-27 mpg.

I'll second that. The only way to accurately measure gas mileage is actual miles/actual gallons used.

Weel, to make it accurate one would have to make sure he uses the same gas station and the same pump.
