can i get a complete set of keys with locks from subaru anymore?

and on the rear hatch of a hatchback, did the little square lock ever work as just a button that you could leave unlocked? because mine will only open with a key or with the in cab lever

You can still get keys from a dealer and probably the lock cores too. If you can't get new cores, take the ones you have to a locksmith and have them matched whatever subaru key you want.

i know on the back of my hatch i gotta open it with the key, don't think it was meant to be a button...
