I have a 4eat (possibly on its way out) and I was thinking about replacing it too. I don't know the answer either, but where are you getting this japaneese one from? Is somebody importing these now too? Jordan
February 8, 200620 yr Author It's at Enginereplacement.com They get them from Japan, A friend of mine got a Trans from them and was happy with it.

I found a 4EAT AWD from Japan and just wondered if it will interchange.To answer your question, it should be a bolt up replacement, but you need to find out what the ratio (front diff) is for the JDM tranny, it might be different in which case you'll also have to change the rear diff.
