I used the mich original equip that came on my 99 OBW, Pirelli scorpion ST(discontinued), and goodyear indy 500s. I liked the pirellis the best.\ I do not reccomend the indys!

On my 99 legacy l sedan we had the original 92s, A discontinued bridgestone that was very simmilar to the 950s, and now have BFgoodrich traction ta. I really like the traction ta.

It does not snow here so your results may vary.

'00 OBW--Goodyear Aquatread 3 on the OE wheels and for winter Michelin X Ice on '99 LGT 18 spoke wheels.

'91 Legacy Sport Sedan--Dunlop SP Sport A2 and Michelin Arctic Alpin.

Will probably replace the Dunlops on the '91 this summer.

MY99 (3rd Gen in the USA) OBW. The original Yokohama Geolander G040s, 215/60/16 (which I believe are unavailable in the USA).

I travel to the snow at least once or twice a year, hence the need for a M+S tyre.

Blizzak ice and snow tires 2003 outback sport. I live in snow 5 months out of the year they are great!

I ran Firestone winterforce 225/60/16 last winter on my 03 BAJA and they were awesome!!! Good on road/off road. Also, I was wondering, for all you baja owners out there....have you ever used anything other than the stock tire size on your sube? I am looking to maybe go up ONE size (better off road tire availability)...but am unsure of clearance (doesnt look like much extra room to me) Any feedback?

Stock Michellin on my 99 Forester. The first ones went about 60,000 and it looks lie this set is not dead now at 125,000. I think this set may make 70,000 miles or more.

Just wondering what other owners use as shoes on their subies- 99 obw- Firestone Affinity LH30- a good all weather, high mile tire.

Bridgestone Potenza RE-92 205/55-16. on a 98 GT wagon. Perfect match for the car and last about 40,000 miles. This is my 3rd set.

But I have almost 100,000 miles on the car!

There is nothing wrong with 40,000 miles on a set of tires.

99 Forester, Pirelli P3000 Cinturato for summer and Good Year Ice Grips for winter.

It's not the point. re92 are poor tires and many people get rid of them after less than 1k miles.

I dunno. No complaints here!

Pretty good on dry pavement, good in rain and good in the snow (but AWD helps). .

Here, have a look

I do not advise picking tires based on positive reviews on tirerack, but I would definitely run away from tires that have that many poor reviews.

And remember, AWD does not improve traction, it just helps manage the traction you already have.
