No hood bra for 2005 GT?

Featured Replies

Newbie here but searched for this issue and did not see any threads.

Does anyone make a front end bra for the 2005 Legacy GT? I can't fine one anywhere, only non-GT Legacies.

Thanks for any help.

I'm not sure what the difference would be, but try contacting Jamie at http://www.subarugenuineparts.com - they DO show deflectors for turbo legacys - bu I dunno why the mask/bra would not work. You might also consider Rockblocker or other clear film. often available as a diy kit or from window tinting companies.

here's where I saw some bras;

bra would interfere with engine cooling...

i would highly recommend http://www.rockblocker.com

vs a leather/pleather type bra

1 - you cant see it! yet it's protecting the car

2 - you dont have to take it off everytime you wash your car

3 - leather/pleather bra's will damage painted surfaces - rockblocker will not

hope this helps!

Thanks for the suggestions.

I had tried the clear plastic a while back on my BMW 3 - series and botched it pretty bad. I could never get it to lay down in the right places at the right time, especially on a bumper.

Maybe time to try again.

i would recommend having a professional install it

this stuff is very tricky to do yourself... ;)
