Also, its an AT (boo!). When I am sitting at a stop light, and accelerate (straight) hard, I get a click, click, click, from the front left side of the car. at first I thought it sounded a lot like an axle. Jacked the car up, inspected, all was OK. What else is up there that could make that noise? The click increases in speed as the car does. It sounds like it clicks about once for every wheel rotation. Damned, I really think its an axle, but they look fine. Thoughts....

Do you have wheel covers? Sometimes a loose or damaged wheel cover will do that.

if its the wheel covers, i'm going to buy you a beer.

well if its not the wheel covers, check the heat sheilds, and its possible its the universal joints in the driveshaft going to the rear wheels.
