Wont Idle

Featured Replies

Hay all my brumby wont idle about half way home yesterday arvo i pulled up at lights and the engine died restarted noworries and runs fine now every time i pull up at an intersection etc the enging dies

any ideas?

For mine - classic symptoms of blocked idle circuit in carby (if u have a carby?) I have just had both loyale and 84 wagon die when pull up to lights etc. On one I could see that the idle circuit in carby was so blocked fuel was leaking into the secondary circuit and going everywhere, pretty easy to spot that petrol outside the carby. Rebuilt them both and they idle fine now. I think this is why many people opt for the weber carbys?

also make sure carby mout bolts are tight--no air vaccum leaks
