91 loyale skid plate/brush bar? help!

Featured Replies

Hello.

How do I go about creating a skid plate and finding a brush bar for my 91 loyale wagon. Its bone stock and I want to enhance its offroad capability. Dont want to tear of my oil pan and a brush bar just looks awsome.

Aslo, whats the diff between EA81 and EA82. Do I have one of these?

you have an EA82

your loyale should have a skidplate (assuming it's 4WD) from the factory

a brushgaurd will probably have to be completely custom. Allied Armament, or TWB fabs is probably your best bet. look for their posts in the vender section here.

thanks for the help, i wasnt aware i had a skidplate. Im new to the suby thing, its my first car.

So I guess I can remove the stock skidplate and get a metal worker to copy the design with a 1/4 peice of steel and it should bolt right on eh?

you could, but the stock one is pretty beefy. I'd say just leave it.

IMHO, the only reason to get a different one, is once you've got a lift, the stock one won't reach anymore...

thats awsome. I dont plan on getting a lift. Too much money for me to invest in the car expecialy when my annual insurance is 500 more than i paid for the car. I do plan on trying to get 14" wheels though so I can run some Cooper discoverer L/Ts.
