seanski06
how important is it to have ur sensor bolts torqued right..for instance my crankshaft sensor i just installed it last night......i removed the old one wiped the inside a little with my finger to get off any grime..and then bolted in the new one to where i thought was tight enough how many things did i do wrong? haha should i have cleaned it more /replace bolt/ etc -sean
idosubaru
sounds about right to me. they're usually straight forward and toque isn't that critical so long as they are seated flush and can't come loose. the electrical connections, corrossion, dirt are important sounds like you addressed those just fine. 2X2KOB
today comes the knock sensor if its in my mailbox when i go home...any suggestions? Well, the book says install it at a 45 degree angle, and tighten it to 17 ft/lb. Not much to it, really.
WAWalker
You should use a torque wrench on the knock sensor.
