I figured out why my fuse keeps blowing, and fixed that, but now I'm getting a ton of smoke. I know right where it is coming from, but I can't get the dash off. Can anyone tell me how? This would be awesome!

you will have to pull out the radio console and shifter console, drop the steering column, probably remove the glovebox, probably remove any and all underplastic concealing the wiring and heater, and then remove the main bolts that hold the dash to the unibody.

Sorry. It's an '86 XT turbo. The smoke is coming from the far left on the driver side. It doesn't smoke when we pull out the engine monitor fuse.
