My 1999 Outback automatic transmission needs to be replaced. Anybody got any suggestions on where I can get a re-built, re-manufactured, or really good used one?

'99 automatic transmission with only 4 k miles on it??. the donor car was wrecked on the left side dead center. bought it to go in a 97 but the wiring harness changed so we went with an older model.

John. you will want to hit wrench n go in Des MOines. they have a 99 outback wagon there, trans and engine still in car.

car was just put on the lot this week. I already got the good non broken rear cupholder, weatherband, alternator, starter, and all the other new parts that were on the car. everything else looked good.

no, to the 99 obw trans.

 

but i do have a 98 obw, rebuilt by subaru, trans. too bad it will not work in your car.
