What years are interchangeable on the fenders for my brat? (1980) I thought it was only 77 to 81, but I found a place that sells aftermarket, and they are listed as 80 to 82. Will they work?

And how do I post pictures of my Brat, and how do I change the "new user" under my avatar to something not quite so blahh?

thats kindof strange that they list it as 80-82... that would be a year range for the EA81 style fenders, which would be different from your brat.. You are right that 77(late) to 81 brat fenders are interchangeable, as well as 77late to 79 for wagons/coupes/sedans will work. But anyway, 1980 subaru kept the brat the same but introduced the EA81 bodystyle, and the new bodystyle brat was introduced in 82. Was the listing you were looking at posted incorrectly maybe?

The listing was on an Auto Body supplier web site that I found. I guess I'll have to try and contact them on Tuesday to see what's up with their listing.

They are for the "EA81" body style soobs:

82-87 Brat

80-89 Hatchback

80-84 Wagon, sedan, coupe

 

they are listed 80-82 because of the antenna.

80-82 has antenna on the drivers side

83+ has antenna on passenger side
