White smoke seafoam

Featured Replies

So when you use seafoam through the pcv valve and let the car sit 5 minutes, then start it up.....clouds of white smoke are supposed to come out from the exaust, under the car, and under the hood....right? It seems to work fine and everything...

Also, are K&N Filters worth the cost?

this is a common question, use the search button and try to read some past threads/debates/arguments/oppinions. it's a volatile subject at times.

I'll save you some time from using search.

Yes, the white smoke is normal. It should go away after a few seconds. The K&N Filter maybe worth the extra money. I had one, but never really noticed a huge difference in power.

I agree with GG, and at the risk of "volatizing" this thread, the basic debate hinges around the tradeoff between filtration and airflow. K&Ns will not trap all the fine particles that a proper pleated-paper filter will catch, but they could flow more air than a comparable area pleated-paper filter. "Comparable" is a key word here...
