Finally got around to putting foglights on the RX.

 

I need them up here in the mountains almost every morning.

They throw a very flat, horizontal beam.

 

Recommend them to everyone.

Does your car run hot? I tried to space mine far enough apart as to not block the grill.

 

did you have to fight the bumper to mount them?

When I had my crappy old single core, all plugged up, radiator, it DID run hotter than it did without the lights. When I swapped in a brandy new dual row turbo radiator, it runs cool as a cucumber.

 

I have removed the plastic and foam on my bumper, so I just have the steel skeleton - which made for a real easy installation. When I pulled the Hella's off of the parts car, the previous owner had a full bumper - and it looked like he had to use a hole cutter or something to make a big hole in the underside of the bumper to be able to fit the mounting screws and have enough room to get a socket in there to tighten them.

 

Me - I just drilled a hole through the steel and was done with it. You can kinda see the bumper deal in this shot:
