Hi, my climate control has a rotary knob to select the desired temp.

as you turn it though half the time the temperature goes the wrong way, or just goes up or down and then straight back to where it was..

anyone else had this problem and fixed it?

Please post the year and model vehicle you are having the issue with.

sounds like the rheostate in the knob has seen better days. Not sure since i havent seen one of these.

And I'll bet the rheostat that Nipper is talking about is available only as a complete A/C control assembly (if Subaru does it like Chrysler, Ford, or GM)
