I have a 1993, subaru legacy. My fan does not operate if i direct power tofan it works. I changed the resistor near fan no change any suggestions. Mahalo george

are we talking about the climate control fan? Check the fuse, check the relay, check the switch.

 

my guess is the fuse or the relay
