June 18, 200619 yr has anyone taken apart the idle circuit solenoid & removed the needle valve, how will the carb work? i'm thinking i have a problem that is in the solenoid, & was just wondering if removing that needle valve would create any other probs?
June 18, 200619 yr It may diesel when you shut it off. You can test that thing - just apply 12v to it while it's off the carb and see if the needle gets sucked in. FWIW, I've never seen one fail. GD

FWIW, I've never seen one fail. GD THANKS just was wondering what it might do. still can't get the engine to idle below 1000 rpm. must be a vacuum leak i can't find. thanks again DAN
