i recently got a 87 turbowagon w/ 5 spd that had a cracked head. I have it in a shop getting pressure tested right now but i was wondering if the head off of an 89 GL n/a spfi would fit. I have an extra sube in my backyard and would like to swap parts in.

nope. spfi has one intake port per head, the mpfi/turbo has two

i kind of figured it wouldn't work. Does anyone know what other parts will fit on my new 87 turbo off of my 89 n/a.

from the motor? the coil, the distributor (if your soob is spfi or mpfi non-turbo)

the little 100 dollar vacuum piece(forget what its called)

 

the vapor canister, starter, cam boxes and covers, oil pan, poi pump, water pump, timing belts, pulleys and covers.

 

pretty much anything that isnt the head or intake
