CD player shorting out?

Hello, has anybody else had a problem with an 04' Impreza TS's cd player getting really hot and shorting out? My friend also has had the same problem. Just wondering if anybody else has experienced this? ThankS! PEACE

if its getting really hot report it to the NHTSA as a sfatey hazard, a possible fire hazard.
