Removal of Forester Emblem

Does anyone have advice on how to remove the Forester emblem from the back gate?

I have a new one on order to replace it with.

I find that removal of most emblems requires use of fishing line, a blow dryer, and some glue remover.

Other members have used dental floss:D to "saw" them off.

 

Clean up any residual sticky stuff with wax or denatured alcohol.

Be careful with that one... I think it has two holes behind it!

 

Any glue residue cleans up nicely with Goo Gone too.
