Read the SPFI conversion manual: http://mshoup.us/docs/spfi_conversion_manual.pdf

It details everything you need to know. Even has wiring diagrams and the such.

As for a fuel pump, I'd just use one from a junkyard subie with SPFI. You'll also want to change all the soft lines to FI rated lines, because the carb'd lines aren't rated for high pressure.

Is there any issues with the fuel return line like I hear with putting the EA82t in a carbed car?

I had no issues with my return line (I've done this to both an 87 ea82 and an ea81) and BTW you can use ANY Fuel injected pump... I have a turbo pump in my wagon

Interesting.. Everyone on the aussie forum says it's a must. You can't go without changing all the fuel lines... Then again, they are a bit like that. Over the top if you get what I'm saying.

I've heard of some idling problems with SPFI on a EA81, anyone had this on a carbed EA82 conversion, what was the problem?
