Where to buy a auto transmission for 95 impreza?

Featured Replies

Hello Gentlemen.

My friend just the the reverse gear in his 95 auto impreza, 4wd. We pretty much think the whole thing is on its way out, and would like to replace it.

Are their any reputable companies that sell the tranny and warranty the first few months to a year and maybe even the labor as well? Im located in FL if that helps at all.

Thanks a lot!

Then go to a pull a part. I know you have a big one somewhere in Florida that Grass Roots Motorsports talked about a few issues back with their impreza rally car. Any 4wd legacy or Impreza will work but you need to make sure it is a 4.11 tranny or change the rear dif too.

here's one. if he still has it.

Slightly OT, but fluid and filter changes may restore the tranny to operating condition; the internals are pretty durable. Is the transmission throwing any POWER-light codes?
