Non-Turbo to Turbo Swap?

hey guys, i searched and found nothing, but heres the delema...

2 years ago i bought a 1985 Subaru GL wagon, it's fwd, non turbo, auto, ice cold air, and 50k on it when i bought it...anywho, i originaly got the car to use as a daily driver so i dont have to drive my accord wagon all the time...as its my play car....i let my sister drive the car for about a month while she got hers fixed and i got it back and it knocks like all hell...so now im looking for a possible upgrade, ive seen the turbo'd version of my motor on ebay for about $500, what will i need to make this work? is it worth it? let me know guys, i searched everywhere else, then found this forum....ill leave it to you experts...lol:clap:

You need quite a bit.

 

EA82T Engine w/ Intake Mani and Turbo

EA82T Crossmember

EA82T ECU and Engine Wiring Harness

EA82T Uppipe and Downpipe.

 

I'm sure there's more, and you'll still only be at about 115 hp.

 

Your best bet is to fix the knocking. Probably just tapping lifters from being run low on oil or dirty oil.

how hard is that to fix? i changed the oil and it was pretty dirty...
