Featured Replies

for an expieriment... paint it subie rally blue but... no... i dont think it would do that hatch justice... but do it anyways! oh yeah dont forget the BBS golds! yeah that wouldnt do it justice either.... hmmm....

Have you ever owned a black car? I haven't, but I've seen plenty of dirty ones, with wavy bodies, with swirly clear coat because the black can really reveal that...... and I've listened to some body people talk about working the metal on a car that's going to be black. It takes a lot more body/sanding work to make a car that's going to be black look good when its painted black.

Black is not only very high maintenance, but black exaggerates and highlights every single tiny nuance of body that is not perfectly straight or perfectly curved. And as mentioned before if the clearcoat isn't perfect, it's pretty easy to see with black paint.

To me, the white flatters the car a great deal. Keep your eye out and study every black car you see.....you might re-think the black thing. Or you can spend a ton of money and get it to look decent.....like this.

Otherwise, it just ends up looking cheap.

Exactly...why do you think that people paint their cars white... if they have"minor collision damage" or "small dents" because you cant see them if its white... even rattlecan hides dents like magic!
