baddest tires for stock sub

Featured Replies

what are the most agressive tires i can get for my stock 1997 legacy obw? my choices are limited i know but is there something similar to mud terrains for my rim size? i found yokohama geolander at-s but thats as hardcore as i could find

IMO you'll run out of gearing, clearance, approach angle, etc. long before you'll exceed what an AT tire can do... but you could put Swampers on there, a 27" will fit.

I have 205/75/15 AT's on mine and that's plenty for me. Still well behaved on pavement. Where do you plan on taking your car that you need something super aggressive

might just go with the yoko at's. swamper would be cool tho or maybe some xterrains :brow: maybe even some gumbo mudders lol

205/75/15's (from Walmart) $58 each.. Had to remove front mud flap for clearance. also hammered down the seam just to be on the safe side

Or the General grabber AT2's in the same size, basically the same tread as a BF goodrich AT and you can get them studded too

here is a link to some nice pics of the AT2's on a Baja

I was actually going to do the AT2's but the reason I went with the liberator is that I had them on my F250 and they worked well. second is that Walmart is everywhere, so if I get a flat or blowout somewhere i can probably get it replaced quickly at the nearest wal mart. lifetime balance and rotate for $7.50 a tire is a good deal too. with more agressive tires it is recommended to get them balanced every 5K miles.
