I just bought a 1990 Loyale with 125,000 miles on it. The car idles reaaly low and sometimes stalls. I also have to give it alot of gas coming out of 1st and 2nd gear. Anybody know what this problem could be? Thanks in advance for any help and suggestions.

Probably need to clean your idle air control valve.

 

It's on the front of the throttle body - held on with 4 bolts.

 

Download the partial 89 FSM that's floating around on here, and run the D-check mode and see what codes you get from the ECU.

yup! hes right! easy easy fix! spray some brake or carb cleaner in it and it will be all good!
