random plug

Featured Replies

hey everyone

there is a random plug in the center of my trunk at the top, its right in the middle of the car attached to the body not the trunk lid.....anyone know what this is......i drive a 97 legacy gt.....the wire for the plug comes from where the speaker wire is run....but most of the wires run from there including the tail lights

Or for a trailer light hookup. On the floor by the spare tire? Or up by the package shelf?

This may sound stupid, but is it for your third brake light? In the spoiler? I assume that one is hooked up and working, but that's the only other thing I can think of that's in that area. I'll look on mine if I get the chance and see if it's there too.

Genuine Subaru amps in these cars (with the premium sound package) is under the driver's seat. I call it the sandwich, cause it's a 6 inch sub!!! It might be smaller than that, but I think it's funny.

Highly unlikely. Factory subs are found under the front seats. And it would need more than 2 prongs if it was for an amp and/or sub.
