TheSubaruJunkie Posted November 13, 2003 Share Posted November 13, 2003 My Brat has a problem with acceleration off the line, or if Im driving slightly off idle. It seems sluggish. Kinda like its bucking alittle. If i dont feather the clutch while accelerating off the line, the car will buck and tend to stall out. I just got done replacing both fuel filters, and i re-timed the engine to 12d BTDC, but its still doing it. The car has a new Acell SuperStock coil, and 8mm wires. Bratwerst Posted November 13, 2003 Share Posted November 13, 2003 sounds overly simple - but it costs nothing if this is it - check any/all vacuum lines as well as the spray-around the carb base trick... it sounds just like what My dad did - except of course mines an auto so it behaves a little differently.
