This is between the engine and tranny on the other side, i couldn't get a pic, but i see a rusted bolt on the other side, well just the thread, but the bolt seems to be broken off, with the thread sitting in it, on this side with the pic it's just a hole with threads, but no bolt, think i should put a bolt in its place?

If I understand your question I agree with North Wet, that is just a dowel pin for installion of the transmission.

No. It has nothing to do with your perceived "crack in your dash when you take off." Your car just flexes a little bit - deal with it.

i guess i have to, but it really gets on my nerves, ill stiffen up the car one day.
