I think that requires replacement of the struts and/or shock setups to add that option. It's definitely not available stock.

Nope, the old school EA-81 and some EA-82, all older than 89; have adjustable suspension. The EJ series does not. You can however put Outback springs on your car, which will give you more room for bigger tires.
