hard starting

Featured Replies

i'm stumped my xt-6 runs fine, but it is verfy hard to get it started you have to pump the gas and crank it for atleast 15-20 seconds before it will start

CTS? Does it idle fine and run well once started?

My wagon would be hard to start when cold. It was the CTS wires. But it caused to have a rough idle and would stumble until warm. If yours runs fine once started cold, it probably isn't the CTS.

it's also dogging a little i'm stumped

i'd go with what mike said, coolant temp sensor.

Also, make sure the easy items like your plugs and wires are good, and check your timing.
