I am trying to make a template for my EA-EJ swap.So far I have the engine side of the adapter(ej22) holes drilled in plywood,but what do I align the D/R 5 speed to to get perfect alignment?Money is tight right now so I can't just buy an adapter.thanks in advance.

I am under the *understanding* that the bottom 2 bolt/stud holes between the two, EA-EJ, are in the same location, so you would work around that.

If you look at the availaible adapters that is how it appears.

I have a cardboard template of the adapter plate that i have, that i traced when i had the motor out, i'll trace you a copy of it and add it to your bill
