lhrocker Posted January 5, 2007 Share Posted January 5, 2007 When I start my Soobie, the car starts up, revs and idles slow for a few seconds - up to 10 - and then revvs up to normal. porcupine73 Posted January 5, 2007 Share Posted January 5, 2007 Hi! What's the model, year, mileage, and trans type? Maybe your idle air control valve (IACV) is gunked up? lhrocker Posted January 5, 2007 Author Share Posted January 5, 2007 95 Legacy wagon w 2.2 automatic and 204K+ miles. It was really cold (20 degrees) the last time I tried it, but it's got other issues (tranny), so I'm just looking to see what is my next step. No CEL, tranny's not catching, after a short ride, there is some smoke by the engine under the battery.
