Legacy suspension/brakes on an Impreza?

Featured Replies

So, I have an 01 Impreza and I'm sick of replacing its crappy front wheel bearings, and warping the rotors. Does anyone know the feasibility of swapping over Legacy spindles and brakes. The front is most important, but all 4 wheels would be best.

Any help is appreciated, and thanks in advance.

I would assume, because most Subarus are like Legos, that the parts would swap right over directly. The problem lies in that you'd probably have to source Legacy parts from a Legacy of the same "generation" of your Impreza or older.

Legacy's seem to have the exact same problems,at least my outback does anyhow.:burnout:

i would concur based on my mom's 98 legacy L, only suby owners i know of that don't complain about crap for brakes are the 02 up impreza crowd, twin piston calipers and all that fun stuff, these are also found on the 91-94 legacy turbo
