January 17, 200719 yr I noticed the other day there is white scale deposit in my radiator. What does this mean? I forget, but I know its not good. I'm guessing radiator flush?

January 17, 200719 yr Author bd, Im kinda confused on ur post. Do you want me to see how hard the white stuff is? They are white flakes floating around in the coolant and there is some sitting in the lip where the radiator cap goes.

He is referring to minerals found in tap water that may be coming out of solution. Someone may have changed the coolant and used tap water as the mix agent. It is recommended practice to only use distilled water for the reason. A drain, back flush, and refill may be in order. His other reference to block sealer well... I guess the flakes could plug holes but.. concentrate real hard maybe he will communicate with you.
