got a hole in one of my lower heater hoses last night on the '82 wagon... didn't have a chance to take the old one off and get a replacement since everybody closed early due to snow... going to the auto-parts store at lunch to get some hose stock, but I don't know what size it is...

 

so, what size hose do I need to pick up for the lower heater hose coming from the heater core (firewall) going up to the uppre hose connectors? id/od? is there a better brand?

 

I'll pick up some stock subaru hoses later, but need a quick fix for now...
