when installing a EJ into A EA car what do you do with the pitch bar? , just chuck it?if so hows it feel ? how would you mount it? thanks Scott

The bracket from the EJ manual tranny bolts right on to the EA82 tranny, so that's your mounting point. Shorten, or if you have a lift, use the EJ22 pitch stop rod. My car has a 3" crossmember drop, and the EJ22 rod fits perfect. I get enough driveline dance as it is, so I like to have it on.

yep, and ditto the XT bracket. and the XT pitch stopper won't need any mods

 

 

I haven't been able to find a junked 5MT legacy or XT yet (lots of rust in this part of the world....so the selection is always slim). so I've been running without....with no noticeable effects yet...*knock on wood*
