March 6, 200719 yr Finally realized that the squealing coming from under the hood was not alternator or ac bearings but almost frozen ac belt tensioner pulley. Anyone know where a cheap replacement can be had? Better yet, is there somewhere I can just purchase new bearings?
March 7, 200719 yr I ended up buying a new tensioner assembly. www.subarugenuineparts.com The part was difficult to find using the menus so I would email them as well: sales@subarugenuineparts.com The removal and re-install took me a total of 15 minutes. It was super easy to replace. Good luck!
March 19, 200719 yr I have replaced the bearing only on my 96 OBW but can't remember the bearing number at this time, will check and post soon if still needed.
