Howdy Everyone! I have a 87' Subaru GL Wagon That is FI. I just got it and started working on it and am new to the subaru world. I took some pics of some lose ends that i was wondering what should go there... Let me know if it is important or not! Thank You!

Right behind the alternator #1 is on top of the engine sensor of some type? #2 is some lose connections...

any help would be apreciated!!

Thank You!

1 and 2 look like a/c bracket mount and plugs

3 looks like the spot where the preheat hose goes on carb models

for all I know 4-6 are also a/c relatdr plugs for the other various stuff that it would have

7 iirc is the service check on the ea82... I'm not sure about that though

edit... if its not conected and not causing problems its not a problem

It's a vac canister for holding a resevrve of vaccum for the heat/vent controls insdie cabin. It can be relocated, but is needed or your vents won't work.

4. is i believe the plug for the a injector resistor that doesn't exist. in my service manual it says something about an injector resistor being mounted right there and it even shows a picture of it but in all of mine and at the junk yard i have never seen one. odd

7. the green one you plug in to get base timing so you can time your car, the little white one i believe is a diagnostic plug and the round one is for if you had push button four wheel drive to control the vacuum solenoids.

i have found that subaru just put the same wiring harness in all these cars and just used what they needed and just left the rest.

im sure it was much cheaper that way
