96 Legacy Outback wagon AWD with Auto, what the diff ratio ??

it should be a 4.44, which is the same as any other 2.5L A/T 96-99. check the trans model # it should have a "2" in the 7TH position, TZ102Z2ABA. this '2' indicates a 2.5L engine and they all have the same rear diff, (96 outback was 2.2 or 2.5 but both used the same trans and diff ratio.)
