HI can anyone tell me whether the EA82T injectors are high or low impedence (for the sake of a Megasquirt installation).

btw I found the one thread that is a bit confusing, but it seems that the stock inj are 2-3ohms which for the sake of MS is 'low' impedance.

can someone confirm?

You can confirm it with a multimeter. Turn the knob to resistance and measure the resistance across the two pins on the injector.

FYI, I believe they are low impedance.

Low.

Mine were each 2.5 ohms.

Not sure if this matters to MS, but there is an additional resistor in the injector circuit (with the ECU and harnesses).

Resistor pack on passenger strut tower by the WGDS. Each injector has its own resistor. I don't remember the value, but it's in the FSM .pdf and the Haynes manual.

thanks both, yep deffo low for MS purposes (under 4ohms). Thanks, I didnt know it was just a matter of measuring with a multimeter! :)

not using the original harness so the resistors are gone, could get some to replace but the MS unit should be able to manage the injectors straight off.

thanks again.
