Knock Knock!

Featured Replies

Hello all! I have a 2004 subaru legacy 35th anniversary sedan with 32k on it and my engine knock is bad man, even when it is warmed up it still knocks, the dealer said it is normal, I disagree even when it is warmed up. I know that is should go away when car is warmed up. So any comments of what I should do?

If you think you have a knock, get a second opinion from a non dealer, but qualified garage(with subaru knowledge). 32k is low to be knocking. Does the car have any other symptoms.

i.e. noise more pronounced at certain rpm, power loss when knocking.

There is a thread somewhere in the new gen that has a good sound clip of a knock, compare it to what you are hearing.
