early like 85-87 mpfi ea82 n/a. my wiring diagram says i should have 4 wires coming off my disty. two go to the coil, and two are supposed to go the knock sensor unit. but i dont have a turbo, and i dont think i will be using the knock sensor.

if this is true, should i be able to run my car with only two wires coming off the disty and going to the coil? or do i need two more?

you should be able to get away with a 85-86 dist with 2 wires
