on my 88 gl manual 4wd wagon it seems like there is no power steering , pretty tight , has it gone bad ? thanks for the help :wave:

I suppose you have checked the belt for slippage and fluid level?

I once looked at fluid level and was fooled in that I was still able to add plenty!

Check owner's manual for specs as my 90 Loyale PS uses Dextron II or III. Top off that reservoir as a first step. Let us know when it's safe for the rest of us to be back on the road.

ok, thanks ,the car has 180,000 mi ,new clutch, timming belts, water pump, seals, gaskets, fender, hood put back on, so it needed some work ,thanks again :wave:
