new legacy owner checking in

Featured Replies

hello,

been lurking for a week now as the proud new owner of a 1995 Legacy Wagon L series.

I picked it up off of craigslist in Chicago last week, so far so good. 5 spd, 64,000 miles.

I was in the Toyota world for awhile with a 1st Gen 4Runner. Great car and fun to own, but the gas mileage was killing me.

I figured an AWD wagon would suit my traveling needs better in the long run.

Hi new legacy owner.... welcome to the land of the crazy people and welcome to your new obsession...OK so where are the pics..noobs have to post pics;)

Pics soon to come. First to fix all the littel quirks that are bugging me:

1) new panel fasteners for the hatchback panel.

2) find some radio knobs

3) someday I'll fix the lighting on the climate controls that I learned about here already.

Other than that there isn't much to be done...it just had its 60,000 mile service 5,000 miles ago

welcome to the suby world. prepare for it to take over your life.

No really I went from no subarus to 5 in a short period of time.

Maybe we should start a 12 step program.

Well anyways, welcome and sounds like a good score.

welcome aboard ....................there's lots of help here....

i wish i'd get some for myself...lol..........spark
