my first subaru

Featured Replies

ive had my subaru since last november and i love it... im very picky when it comes to cars, ive had well over 10 cars and im 23. and this subaru is the only one that i have no intention of getting rid of... its a 1986 subaru gl the same exact body style at the rx, just a gl. it had the ea82 and 5spd with just front wheel drive when i baught it for $250. it now has the ea81 with a dual range 4x4 5spd in it. i have also put 6 lug 15" wheels on it with all season tires for now. it goes pretty well off road, when i get me a new car wich will probably be a subaru also... im am going to weld the rear and im doing the lift also im thinking going 4" but im not totaly sure yet... ive got before and after pics if anyone is interested...

Yup. Addictive little buggers.

Light, easy to work on, efficient, and absolutely unreal in the snow. Though it *is* possible to get one stuck with Blizzaks.
