Legacy wagon 2000 something Squeak

Featured Replies

My grandmother just did the 75k mile service at the dealer. But there was a squeak in the left front area. The pads were not touched because they were done at 60k and were 25k+ pads. But I have no idea what the squeak could be:confused: any ideas?

Go through a car wash and see if it goes away. When you push down on the front of the car can you hear it?

The car is kept pretty much spotless 24/7. Only time I have heard it is when it's moving foward.

Does the sound go away when you step on the brake? If so could be a wear indicator ("tweeter") on the brake pad.
